VENUES/CHURCHES PLAYED

Burke Presbyterian Church ~ Burke, VA
BPC has one of the best run coffeehouse worship services I've seen. Started in 2003, this Saturday evening service features various performers who play a mini-set at the close of worship. They are way faithful and way cool.

The Crimson Moon ~ Dahlonega, GA
The Crimson Moon is one of the coolest art gallery, music room, and coffee shop combos you'll ever come across. My Swannanoa Gathering friend, Dana LaChance is the owner.

Dreamcatcher Guitars ~ Roswell, GA
Eddie Mathis is the owner of this great high-end guitar shop and Listening Room. It's been a pleasure to play at Dreamcatcher which also happens to be in my hometown of Roswell, GA.

Christ Unity ~ Chattanooga, TN
I wrote "For Ever" for the Thanksgiving 2003 service at Christ Unity. Andrew Kelsay at the church asked me to lead a sermon in song for the Sunday prior to T'giving and have some songs about gratitude. I'm grateful to him for the commissioning he unwittingly afforded. Great church and great music series they have.

The Palace Theater ~ Maryville, TN
Owned and operated by world renowned guitarist Steve Kaufman, The Palace has been renovated to its 1930's glory. Great movies and outstanding venue for acoustic music!

Irvington Presbyterian Church
My friend and seminary classmate, Bob Heimach pastors this Indianapolis, IN congregation. In 2004 they started their Fourth Sunday Concert Series featuring area, regional, and touring musicians.

Presbyterian University Center @ Florida State University
What a great campus ministry in Tallahassee, FL! The Rev. Mr. Bruce Chapman is the director of this residential campus ministry.

Presbyterian Church of the Covenant
This Greensboro, NC congregation houses a splendid acoustic music series called On Mendenhall which I helped create. I played one of their first shows! Rev. Jim Dollar and Rev. Julie Strope are two of my favorite folks.
