As an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA), Bryan usually uses the lectionary text for Sundays when asked to preach. He always uses his original songs OR other singer/songwriter's material to introduce or encapsulate the sermon in a song. Given enough time, he can even write a song for the sermon OR a hymn for the congregation to sing elsewhere in the worship service. He can also weave together a sermon on a given topic that pulls together songs in our culture and delves deeply into their meaning for the surprising presence of God’s word in the world.

Bryan uses MediaShout software for projecting lyrics to praise songs, hymns, rounds, chants, spirituals, and other songs for worship.
